Increase cases of measles
Measles can spread to other people easily.
Patients who have an appointment to come into the practice should not attend if they have:
- a fever and a rash; with
- cold symptoms;
- or a cough;
- or red, sore eyes (conjunctivitis)

Trowbridge Surgery currently cares for approximately 8,000 patients. For a number of years, the practice has worked very hard to offer the best care to our patients despite the physical constraints of our building.
We have actively worked with key stakeholders, including the local Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the council to seek different space. However, we have not been able to find an alternative permanent solution. We now have an opportunity to extend our services into Kenworthy Road Health Centre. This would provide additional clinical and administrative space for our practice team and patients.
We would continue to run our services for patients from the main Practice site at 18 Merriam Avenue, Trowbridge, E9 5NE. We are considering the option of extending our services and running additional clinics from Kenworthy Road Health Centre, 10 Kenworthy Road, E9 5TD – which is a 4 minute drive or 11 minute walk way from Trowbridge Surgery.
Some patients already access other services at Kenworthy Road such as physiotherapy, continence services, foot health, dietetics and specialist adult nursing clinics. The Health Centre also houses another local surgery – The Wick surgery.
Please be assured that the level of care we deliver to patients will not be affected by the additional space. We hope it will increase support to the team to deliver the best care for our patients.
